Jannatul PramanikProgram Coordinator, Multicultural Student Services
Jannatul Pramanik (MPH, Health Policy, Law, and Ethics & B.A Spanish Literature & Culture, University of Virginia) is the Program Coordinator for Multicultural Student Services. Her role entails assisting in the planning and implementation of programs & services under MSS (such as cultural affinity based peer mentoring, leadership, and peer education programs) and providing individual student/student organization support. She is specifically tasked with supporting the APIDA (Asian/Asian Pacific Islander/South Asian/Desi American) and Middle Eastern & North African communities. Her office is housed on the lower level of Newcomb Hall in between the LGBTQ Center and the Multicultural Student Center.
Before being a program coordinator, Jannatul served as a medical scribe at UVA’s Primary Care and International Family Medicine Clinic. She is a 2016 graduate of the College and Arts & Sciences and received a master’s degree in Public Health from the University in the spring of 2017. The IRC is near and dear to her heart as Jannatul was a resident of Munford her second year, an RA for 2 years, and then served as the Senior Resident of the dorm. She is excited to be back and hopes you all will utilize her as a resource!
