The IRC Crest

Designed by the 2014 IRC Council, the IRC Crest has been an important symbol of the community and its core values. The crest is divided into four parts: the wheat, the bear, the owl, and the laurels which distinctly represent our houses, motto, history!

IRC Motto: "Cibo Comitate Pace Discendo", " Learning with food, kindness, and peace."

Munford House - The Wheat

The Wheat is representative of Munford House, the primary location for meals and events.

Yen House - The Owl

The Owl represents Yen House's wisdom primarily due to the upper-class residents that live there.

Gwathmey House - The Bear

The Bear represents the residents of all years and genders live together in Gwathmey.

Hoxton House - The Laurels

The Laurels represent Hoxton House, which is the location for peace and tranquility.
