Bio

Brad Brown Associate Professor of Commerce and Founding Fellow     Prof. Brown teaches and researches in the areas of management, sustainable development, social entrepreneurship, microfinance, and corporate social responsiblity.  He is renowned for his international commerce expertise and business experiences (including 15 years in management before joining academia), and is on the editorial boards of Corporate Reputation Review and Multinational Business Review.  Professor Brown has led a wide variety of international student-integrated UVA programs (including short courses in Nicaragua, Bangladesh, and elsewhere) and has been honored with visiting faculty appointments in Europe and Asia.  He is also the founder and first Principal of the International Residential College, where he spearheaded the development of a highly collegial student community.
